The allegations against Meghan Markle’s estranged father, Thomas Markle Sr., are stacking up after child sex abuse material (CSAM) was reportedly found in a storage unit he rented near his former home in Rosarito Beach, Mexico.

A “stash” of child pornography, including books about pedophilia, magazines showing children being sexually abused, and “several loose photographs of naked Asian females” were discovered in a storage unit Thomas, 82, rented and allegedly abandoned, according to a report published by the Daily Mail on Friday, October 30..

The FBI has been alerted, per the report, after Asian magazines allegedly depicting child pornography and 35mm negatives showing a woman “with her limbs bound or hogtied and being directed by a man during a photo shoot” were uncovered in the storage unit after Markle failed to keep up with his payments.

According to the outlet, their reporter obtained receipts from the storage company that confirmed Thomas rented the unit in 2017, six years after he moved to Rosarito.

The company claimed that Thomas has failed to keep up his lease agreement payments for the past two years. He was last seen on the premises in March 2024, per the publication.

A search of the unit reportedly also turned up 31 black-and-white photos, half of which appeared to be of the same girl. One photo allegedly showed Thomas, who appeared to be in his 40s or 50s, posing on a hotel bed alongside the girl.

A second photo, taken in the same hotel room, showed the girl naked and leaning forward, according to the outlet.

There were reportedly sixteen more black-and-white pictures of various other naked girls, as well as “more than 50 video tapes, with titles such as Boys – Brother and Sister – Russian XX and Manila Nites,” but the contents are unknown.

In addition to the photos, the outlet reportedly discovered a stack of books in the unit with titles like Forbidden Sexual Behavior and Morality, The Intimate Sex Lives of Famous People and The Invisible Children.

The deep dive into Thomas’ alleged storage unit in Mexico comes following allegations earlier this month that he was in possession of child sex abuse material at his home in the Philippines, where he lived after leaving Rosarito. (He now resides in a nursing home in Florida.)

News broke on October 22 that Meghan’s estranged father is under investigation by local authorities after his son, Thomas Markle Jr., allegedly discovered a cache of child sex abuse material in boxes at Thomas Sr.’s house in the Philippines, while cleaning out the home.

Thomas Sr. has denied the allegations, telling the Daily Mail on October 23, “I could never do what I’m being accused of. It’s the worst thing anyone could accuse me of. This is bulls***. It’s just a bunch of lies. It’s sick. I have no idea why Tom is trying to destroy me with these lies.”

Thomas Sr. shares Thomas Jr., 60, and daughter Samantha Markle with first wife, Roslyn Loveless. He shares Meghan, 45, with second wife, Doria Ragland, whom he divorced in 1987.

The Duchess of Sussex has been estranged from her father since her 2018 nuptials to Prince Harry, ahead of which Thomas Sr. was accused of posing for staged paparazzi photos. Thomas Sr. did not attend the wedding and he has not met their son, Prince Archie, or daughter Princess Lilibet.

“I am deeply distressed at the news that has come to light in the last 24 hours, and my thoughts are with any children who may have been harmed,” Meghan said in a statement shared with Us on October 23.

Meghan shared that she previously received a letter in 2018 sent to the Metropolitan Police and Royalty and Specialist Protection, in which her father was accused of sexually abusing children. That alleged correspondence prompted her estrangement.

“I hope it can now be understood that, despite certain media publications’ distortion over the years, any distance from my father and my choice to not allow him to have contact with our children, was for one reason: to protect them,” Meghan added. “I trusted that the authorities were doing the same for other families.”

Thomas Sr., meanwhile, denied the allegations, telling the Daily Mail on Saturday, October 24, “I have never had sex with anyone under the age of 18.”

While Thomas Sr. has vowed to clear his name, the Philippine police are moving forward with their investigation.

“In these cases where family disputes are mixed up, we have to consider all the angles,” Philippine interior minister Jonvic Remulla told The Guardian on Sunday, October 25. “Right now, all signs point to a possible sex offender of the grossest kind. We want to be sure before we release the findings. The forensics data will be complete in a week.”

He continued, “Please give us a week to determine the contents and to come up with a definitive picture. We will release a statement then.”
