Awkward alert! Tyga’s Ferrari was repossessed while he was car shopping with girlfriend Kylie Jenner, according to TMZ.

The site reports that the 26-year-old hip-hop star was looking for yet another new set of wheels at a Bentley dealership in Calabasas, California, on Tuesday, August 30, when the repo man showed up — with a spare key in hand — to drive away his bright red sports vehicle.

According to TMZ, the “Rack City” rapper missed several lease payments on the flashy automobile. California’s repossession laws state that lenders are able to repossess a car as soon as the lessee defaults on a loan — even if he or she is only one day late on a payment.

Though he may no longer have his Ferrari, Tyga flaunted his luxurious ride on July 23 via Instagram. He shared a photo of his son, 3-year-old King Cairo — who he shares with ex-fiancée Blac Chyna — standing next to the crimson-colored car. “Ferrari summer,” the dad captioned the photo.

This would not be Tyga’s latest financial setback. As Us Weekly previously reported, the Kingin’ With Tyga star was slapped with a whopping $480,000 judgment this year because he fell behind in rent on his former pad in Malibu. Tyga’s landlord sued him after he bought Jenner a $200,000 Maybach for her 19th birthday earlier this month.

“There’s a lot of activity with this going on, but he owes my client a lot of money and we are proceeding to collect that money from any expensive gifts to anyone that he gave or money he gave out,” the property owner’s lawyer Boris Treyzon previously told Us. “So basically, we want that money back! That would include Kylie’s new car he bought for her.”

A judge issued a warrant for his arrest on Tuesday, August 9, after he failed to show up for a court-ordered deposition, a Los Angeles public information officer confirmed to Us. While vacationing in Turks and Caicos with his teen ladylove earlier this month, Tyga settled with his former landlord.

“The case got settled. Tyga paid,” Treyzon told Us on August 11. “It’s been executed and everything has been performed. We expect things to get back to the way they were. We will inform the court that the settlement has been reached and that all parties are satisfied.”
