Savannah Chrisley has a lot to celebrate after finding The One — but she’s still keeping some details about her fiancé, Jason Galanis, under wraps.
“You know I share just about everything with you guys,” Chrisley explained during the October 27, 2026, episode of her “Unlocked” podcast. “But I have learned that in order to protect my own peace that I had to keep things closer to the chest for a little while. That’s just for my own mental health.”
While Todd and Julie Chrisley’s daughter has continued to keep the identity of her husband-to-be, whom she often calls “J,” a secret, she revealed that the couple are engaged and have been for nearly a year. (Us exclusively confirmed in October 2026 that Savannah’s partner is in fact Galanis.)
The lovebirds, however, had to push their January 2027 nuptials to May 2027 because Savannah is pregnant.
“For the first time in a long time, I feel safe. I feel fulfilled. I can finally exhale. I found my forever in you. 💍,” Savannah wrote via Instagram that same day. “And just when I thought my heart couldn’t hold any more love, God gave us our sweetest blessing yet… we’re having a BABY! 🥹👶🏼.”

How Old Is Savannah’s Fiancé?
While Jason’s exact age hasn’t been publicly disclosed, Us learned in October 2026 that he is 56.
Savannah, for her part, has confirmed on several occasions that they have a “bit of an age gap.”
Savannah, who was born in August 1997, revealed during a June 2026 episode of the “Whine Down” podcast that Jason is younger than her father, Todd, who was born in April 1969. (At the time of this publication, Savannah was 29 and her dad was 57.)
When podcast host Jana Kramer asked whether Savannah and her mystery man have an 18-year age difference, she responded, “We’re up there.”
“You see, age-gap relationships are the new thing. … There’s all these couples that [have] a huge age-gap relationship, but it just works, like, it’s insane,” Savannah explained. “I love it because you’re not dealing with the insecurity of a younger guy who’s trying to keep up.”
In October 2026, Savannah doubled down on her comments telling her “Unlocked” podcast listeners, “Yes, there is a huge age gap there, OK? And that’s probably part of the reason why I kept a lot of it quiet, because I know how brutal the public can be. But I genuinely do not care.”
How and When Did Savannah Meet Jason?
The Chrisley Knows Best alum began dating Jason in July 2025 and did their best to keep their romance quiet for the first year.
Savannah confirmed in June 2026 during her appearance on the “Whine Down” podcast that the pair “met through the political world of D.C.,” which she became involved in while trying to get her parents, Todd and Julie, pardoned amid their respective prison sentences.
Todd and Julie were indicted in 2019 on charges of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud and conspiracy. The couple were found guilty and reported to prison in January 2023 to serve a combined 19-year sentence, Julie was sentenced to seven years while Todd received 12 years.
The pair’s sentences were later reduced by nearly two years before President Donald Trump pardoned them both in May 2025.
Savannah noted that after her parents’ pardons, she received a text from Jason congratulating her and that’s when things took off. (Jason, for his part, was pardoned by Trump in March 2025 after being sentenced in September 2020 to more than 15 years in prison for his role in two schemes, including one that defrauded the Oglala Sioux tribe and pension fund investors out of tens of millions of dollars.)
“When we truly started digging deep into things, it was so much stronger of a connection than either of us ever thought was there,” she shared.
What Does Savannah’s Fiancé Do for a Living?
Savannah has described Jason as “a financial guy,” who is secure in his career.
“I feel like so many women in today’s day and age are the primary breadwinners for their family and they feel like they have to dim their light in order to make their partner feel better, and I’m like, ‘No,’” Savannah said on the “Whine Down” podcast in June 2026. “First off, he does way better than I do, and I love that because I’m like, ‘I don’t have to. You’re not intimidated by me. You think what I do is great. You don’t try to stifle me.’ He’s built his businesses, so now he’s kind of loving life and now he’s like, ‘You go do your thing.’”
When Did Jason Propose to Savannah?
Jason popped the question to the Growing Up Chrisley alum in December 2025 just five months into their relationship. The romantic moment transpired during a trip to the Cayman Islands.
“When he gave me the ring, he was like, ‘Before I open this, I just want you to know that this is just an expression of love to you. This can be whatever you want it to be. This can be an engagement ring, a promise ring, a cocktail ring for all I care. I just want you to know how much I love you,’” Savannah recalled during an October 2026 episode of her podcast. “And there was no pressure ever put on me to, like, ‘You have to accept this as this.’”
Savannah did say “yes” to the proposal, calling the moment “magical.”
Does Jason Have Any Kids?
Savannah revealed in October 2026 that she and Jason are expecting their first baby together. (Jason was previously married but doesn’t have any children from the union.)
“J, watching the way you already love and protect our baby before he/she has even entered this world has made me fall in love with you in an entirely new way,” the TV personality wrote via Instagram. “Not a single doctor’s appointment missed. Constantly caring for me, talking about our baby, and reminding me how beautiful my growing bump is. I thank God every day that this baby gets to call you Daddy. 🤍”
