Kathryn Wants Sole Custody
Dennis lost custody of their two children in 2016 after she failed a drug test. After completing a stint in rehab, she regained 50/50 custody of her son and daughter in 2018. She filed documents to obtain primary custody on October 25, noting that the pair’s prior agreement stated that “once the Mother has been clean for a period of one year, the parties agree to return to mediation” and “mandated that both parties undergo a physical parenting fitness evaluation.” Dennis underwent her evaluations with L. Randolph Waid, Ph.D., who was “impressed that Ms. Dennis has genuine love and care for her children” and assessed that she is “a fit and competent parent.”
“The Mother is informed and believes it is the best interests of the minor children that she be granted sole custody and/or primary custody of the minor children … with reasonable visitation granted to the Father,” the docs read.
In Ravenel’s counterclaim filed on November 6, he alleged that Dennis is seeking sole custody “for the sole and/or primary purpose” of staying on the Bravo series and “progressing her story line as the ‘rehabilitated mother who regains possession of her minor children.’” He also claimed she has “failed on numerous occasions to take the minor children” to school and their scheduled appointments.Back to top
