Taking the plunge for the big 1-0!
Jessica Simpson celebrated the 10th anniversary of her eponymous brand, the Jessica Simpson Collection, at NYC’s Tavern on the Green on Wednesday, Sept. 9. And naturally, she rocked her signature, cleavage-boosting style for the occasion.
With her husband, ex-football player Eric Johnson, by her side, Simpson, 34, hit the scene in a sapphire-blue Galvan jumpsuit with a sheer bodice that dipped all the way down to her waistline. Towering platform heels, large hoop earrings, a cobalt clutch, and a series of statement rings completed the ensemble.
For beauty, the mom of Maxwell, 3, and Ace, 2, whom she shares with Johnson, added a navy smoky eye, which perfectly complemented her ensemble. She also rocked peach cheeks, a frosted lip, and loose curls.
But the lovebirds weren’t alone! Simpson and Johnson were joined by the pop princess-turned-fashion mogul’s parents, Joe and Tina Simpson. While Joe worked a patchwork coat, jeans, and studded shoes on the carpet, Tina modeled a pinstriped number with a deep V-neckline. (Martha Stewart and Catt Sadler were also in attendance.)
The day before the grand fete, Simpson visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she dished on her love of style—especially high-heeled shoes. “I never take off a heel,” the pop princess-turned-fashion mogul told Fallon. “I get more grip with ’em!” She then shared a snap of herself jet-skiing while wearing ankle-strap stilettos.
