So good, it gets a teaser! On Wednesday, January 13, British singing sensation Adele will be seen joining Late Late Show host James Corden for the most amazing episode of Carpool Karaoke ever seen.
And if this minute-long sneak peek is anything to go by, it looks like the real thing is definitely going to be worth waiting for!
The trailer for the segment, which aired on Cordon’s show on Monday, January 11, shows the talk show host sitting in a car awaiting his guest (in the U.K., hence the right hand drive!) saying the lyrics of the hit song “Hello” over the phone.
“I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet?” Corden, 37, says to his mystery guest. “Hello, from the outside,” he deadpans. And then, the moment we’re all waiting for — Adele herself appears in the car and belts out the chorus, totally drowning out the comedians efforts to sing along!
The chart-topping singer, 27, then chats to Corden about her hairstyle (asking for his advice: should she wear a wig, or get a weave?) before previewing an epic clip of “Rolling in the Deep.”
