“I play very simple Cat Stevens songs, and very simple Neil Young songs,” 30-year-old Garfield shyly told Fallon, who pressed the actor about his new hobby. Then, as Emma Stone‘s boyfriend talked, Fallon slowly pulled out a guitar from behind his desk.

“It fell from the ceiling!” Fallon said. “Could you give us a little taste of something please?”

“I’m no Adele Dazeem,” Garfield quipped, riffing off of John Travolta‘s infamous Oscars flub. “I meant, Idina Menzel.” He grimaced, adding, “This is my first time I’ve ever sung in public.”

The actor then launched into an acoustic version of the Spider-Man theme song. “Hey there, here comes that Spider-Man,” Garfield crooned. Eventually, the guitar-playing escalated and Fallon stood up to accompany Garfield with his tambourine.
