Beyonce, Ed Sheeran Jam Out to “Drunk In Love” at the 2015 Global Citizen Festival: Watch the Duet You Never Knew You Needed!

Who’d have thought a redheaded Brit would replace Jay Z? On Saturday, Sept. 26, Ed Sheeran joined Beyonce on stage at the 2015 Global Citizen Festival to give one of her classic trademark songs “Drunk In Love” a sexy acoustic breakdown.

Clad in a sparkly nude bodysuit and thigh-high boots, Queen Bey, 34, sang the highly sexual song next to a plaid-shirt-wearing Sheeran, 24, who played his guitar. The crowd in NYC’s Central Park seemed thrilled by the unlikely pairing.

This isn’t the first time they’ve united forces on the stage. Back in February, they sang a medley of Stevie Wonder songs for a soulful tribute to the 26-time Grammy winner at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.

Beyonce performed several times throughout the Global Citizen Festival, a fundraiser devoted to end global poverty by 2030. And Sheeran wasn’t her only unlikely duet. She also joined forces with Pearl Jam to sing Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song.”
