Is this going to be a “How rude!” or a “You got it, dude!” situation? Fans are still reeling from John Stamos’ late night announcement on Jimmy Kimmel Live that Full House would be returning in a new Netflix reboot cleverly called Fuller House.
We already know that Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber will be reprising their roles as D.J. Tanner, Stephanie Tanner, and Kimmie Gibbler — along with Stamos’ Uncle Jessie — on the 13-episode series that will focus on D.J.’s growing brood.
But the real question on every ‘90s kids’ mind is whether or not Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will return to their first role as Michelle Tanner. The multi-millionaire leaders of the fashion and Dualstar empire haven’t acted together since 2004’s New York Minute, but there’s still hope that they could appear on Fuller House.
According to the show’s official release, the 28-year-old twins are currently in “discussions regarding guest appearances.” Other original stars in talks to appear are Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), Dave Coulier (Uncle Joey), and Lori Loughlin (Aunt Becky).
Though Ashley only had two small roles after New York Minute, Mary-Kate continued her acting career, having a recurring role on Weeds in 2007 and playing an evil witch in 2011’s Beastly.
