Go on and cry. Justin Theroux cries, and cries, and cries in a supercut that shows the star getting very emotional in scenes from his hit HBO show, The Leftovers.
The clip — put together by New York Magazine’s Vulture — features the hunky actor, 44, in tears in several episodes of the series, resulting in a video that’s both funny and adorable.
But his ability to well up is not all that’s been showcased on the series, which is about two percent of the world’s population suddenly disappearing. Jennifer Aniston’s husband also appeared naked in the Nov. 22 episode of the popular show, to the delight of many fans.
His revealing scene, however, wasn’t the most shocking thing to happen on Season 2, which concluded on Dec. 6. Theroux’s character, Kevin Garvey, is still alive, despite seemingly being killed off in the Nov. 15 episode. Fans of the show will only have one more season to watch what happens to Theroux’s character — the show’s creator Damon Lindelof announced on Saturday, Dec. 12, that the upcoming third season of The Leftovers would be its last.
Theroux — who married Aniston, 46, in August in a celebration at their Bel Air mansion attended by A-listers including Ellen DeGeneres, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Howard Stern, and Chelsea Handler — revealed in September that the pair’s close friend, Jimmy Kimmel, cried while officiating their wedding.
“He was extremely funny,” he told Good Morning America on Sept. 30. “He kept things extremely light, was extremely touching. And he did [cried]. And then, everyone did. And it was just… the perfect tone for the night.”
