Still on her DVR. On Kocktails With Khloé’s Wednesday, February 24, episode, Khloé Kardashian explains why she hasn’t been watching the miniseries American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, which focuses on O.J. Simpson‘s murder trial and features her parents as characters.
In the FYI talk show’s footage, the host, 31, reveals that she plans to watch FX’s series eventually but hasn’t done so yet. David Schwimmer plays her late father, Robert Kardashian, who was Simpson’s longtime pal and a member of his legal team. Selma Blair portrays Khloé’s mom, Kris Jenner, who was tight with O.J.’s late wife, Nicole Brown Simpson.
The Strong Looks Better Naked author worries about how tough it must be for Sydney and Justin Simpson, O.J.’s kids with Nicole, to hear people again talking about the June 1994 incident in which their mother and her friend Ronald Goldman were murdered.
“I’m not their child,” Khloé explains. “I more felt bad for the kids, Sydney and Justin. I’m like, how f–ked up that they … You’ll never get over your mom being murdered, and now they have to be stalked with paparazzi again?”
She says that watching the series will be tough for her too, because of how close the NFL Hall of Famer was to her family, as she points out that she used to call him “Uncle O.J.” Khloé adds that she has been “afraid” to find out how her dad is being represented.
See the host share her thoughts about Schwimmer’s portrayal of Robert in the video above.
Kocktails With Khloé airs on FYI on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST.
