LeAnn Rimes has seemingly shut down rumors that she could be joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Following reports this week that Rimes, 43, has been in talks with Bravo about a spot on RHOBH, the 9-1-1: Nashville actress shared a clip via her Instagram Story of The Bachelorette’s Rachel Lindsay and Chelsea Stark-Jones discussing the rumors on the Tuesday, May 5, episode of the “Morally Corrupt Bravo Show” podcast.
“The rumor is Leann Rimes’ name is being floated around to Beverly Hills,” Lindsay, 41, begins in the clip. “To that I’ll say, as a fellow Dallas girl, I’ll take it! Sign her up!”
Her cohost chimed in that Rimes seems “open to sharing,” after recently posting a video of her deep jaw release procedure. (A clip of Rimes bursting into tears after having her jaw physically reset by hand was so intense that she later denied it was fake.)
Lindsay joked that she’ll “take a new album while we’re at it” before paying homage to Rimes’ iconic performance of “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” in 2000’s Coyote Ugly.
Rimes responded via the podcast’s Instagram comments section in order to set the record straight about her Bravoverse status.
“omg, dying! SCHOOL QUEEN 👸🏼 no, no…. no housewives for me,” she clarified. “Playing dixie on 911 nashville is drama enough for me.”
One person who is likely thrilled that Rimes will seemingly not be joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is former cast member Brandi Glanville. The two have been entangled in a feud ever since Rimes was rumored to be having an affair with Glanville’s then-husband, Eddie Cibrian, in early 2009. (Rimes was married to dancer Dean Sheremet at the time.)

Rimes and Cibrian, 52, eventually left their partners and tied the knot with each other in April 2011 in California. Over the years, Rimes and Glanville, 53, have gone through highs and lows — with the latest blowup centering around Rimes possibly joining RHOBH.
“I hope it’s true about RHOBH,” Glanville wrote via X on Wednesday. “I mean, she got everything else of mine — husband, kids, boobs, bronco, random illnesses. She might as well just be a housewife and finish it off once and for all.”
That same day, Dolores Catania and Teddi Mellencamp — alums of The Real Housewives of New Jersey and Beverly Hills, respectively — discussed the possibility of Rimes appearing on RHOBH next season.
“I do not believe this for a second,” Mellencamp, 44, said on HeartRadio’s “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast. “That’s not going to happen. And two, I just don’t see her. … She’s got a lot of things going on. I just don’t see LeAnn Rimes on the next season.”
Catania, 55, added, “I’d like to see something on the next season. But hey, that’s just me.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Bravo.
