Unplugged or stripped down? MTV announced on Monday, Jan. 20 that Miley Cyrus will be featured in an upcoming MTV Unplugged episode. The 21-year-old "Wrecking Ball" singer, who famously performed half-naked at the 2013 MTV VMAs, shared a bizarre promo photo for her MTV special on Twitter.
"@MTV PRESENTS MILEY CYRUS: MTV UNPLUGGED YALL," she wrote. "Check it out January 29th!" In the photo, Cyrus poses topless with star pasties, a blonde bob wig, yellow neck handkerchief, black gloves and a large black hat. She also wears large fake teeth that resembles the look Lady Gaga styled on the cover of her single "Dope."
"Miley's vision for the performance is like nothing we've ever seen," an MTV spokesperson said in a press release (via Gossip Cop.) "I can say that this will easily be one of the most memorable Unplugged performances to date."
MTV also teased that Cyrus' Unplugged performance will feature appearances from surprise guests.
