A different kind of drama! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Erika Girardi makes an explosive cameo alongside her Bravo costar and soap opera vet Eileen Davidson, on the Thursday, December 15, episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless.
In the clip above, Girardi, 45, plays a no-nonsense business woman named Farrah Dubose who accidentally bumps into Ashley Abbott (who Davidson, 57, has played on and off on the soap since 1982). In the midst of their run-in, Ashley accidentally pours her cup of coffee all over Farrah’s crisp, white blazer. Naturally, this prompts the women to launch in a heated verbal war that would make any Housewife proud.
“Are you kidding me?!” Farrah screams, to which Ashley replies, “I’m so sorry.”
However, Girardi’s character is not satisfied with the apology. “Look at this mess! What are you thinking?!” she shouts before Ashley fires back, “Excuse me! In my defense, you could watch where you’re going.”
“Wanna know where I was going? To show a $3 million listing, that is, until you doused hot coffee all over my new suit!” Farrah retorts.
After another attempt at apologizing on Ashley’s part, Farrah laments that her “custom-couture” outfit is “ruined” and the women resort to petty insults.
“Shut up, you know that? Be quiet,” Ashley fumes to Farrah. “And you know what else? Have a nice day.” Before storming off in opposite directions, the reality star–actresses coincidentally (or perhaps not) sign off with the same line: “What a bitch!”
Of course, the ladies’ on-screen catfight was all in jest. As viewers saw on the Tuesday, December 6, season 7 premiere of RHOBH, Davidson offered Girardi a role on the long-running daytime series for the “Pretty Mess” singer’s 45th birthday.
Girardi — who also is known as pop temptress Erika Jayne — took to Twitter on Thursday morning to express her gratitude to Davidson for hooking her up with the acting gig. “When @eileen_davidson gets you the best birthday present ever,” she wrote.
