'Temptation Island’ Season 2 Heats Up: Meet the 4 New Couples

Can they survive the temptation? USA’s reboot of Temptation Island is returning with its second season in the fall — but can any of the four couples survive? Ashley Goldson and Rick Fleur, Ashley Howland and Casey Starchak, David Benavidez and Kate Griffith and Gavin Rocker and Esonica Veira are the four pairs that will be testing their relationship this time around. Each couple will arrive in Maui and be separated — the men will move into a house full of women and the women into a house of guys. In the first trailer for the new season, it's clear that most of the men and women are on very different pages. "I said to David, 'Why are we here? Why are we doing this?' I should have put my foot down from the beginning," Kate says in the video, while Dave is shown getting a massage by another woman. Meanwhile, Ashley H. reveals she and Casey have "definitely set ground rules," which includes no kissing or cuddling. Ashley G. and Rick

After four years of highs and lows, Ashley, 30, is ready to find out if Rick, 32, is finally ready to settle down. She believes they’re meant to be, and he says he loves her — but after growing up in a strict household, he wants to enjoy life and have fun too. Can she fully accept her model boyfriend for who he is, or will his wandering eye cause her to find someone else?

Ashley H. and Casey

A year and a half ago, Ashley, 25, met party boy Casey, 26, on a dating app. What started as a fling quickly turned serious, but the pair, who recently moved in together in DeLand, Fla., struggle with trust and commitment. Her past relationships makes her wary, and he can’t help but think about the single life he gave up for her.

Kate and David

At 34, Kate is sure she wants to be with David, 28, especially after three years together. She’s ready for marriage and kids; he’s afraid to be vulnerable and has some walls up. The pair promise they’ve been faithful to each other, but that hasn’t always been the case with others in the past: She cheated on an ex-husband, and he stepped out on an ex-girlfriend. Plus, Kate’s not thrilled to be heading on the show at all.

Esonica and Gavin

After more than a year together, Esonica, a 30-year-old former pageant queen, has a tough time trusting boyfriend Gavin. However, the private security officer, 26, doesn’t want to be punished for his past mistakes. She must figure out whether she can truly forgive him, while’s forced to decide whether he’s ready to commit for good.

Temptation Island premieres on USA in October.
