2. Where Have You Seen Him Before?

Donovan’s first big break came in 2007 when he landed the role of Jeremy Horton on Days of Our Lives. He continued to find success as Teddy Montgomery on 90210 and as Austin on Melissa & Joey before making a splash on the Hallmark Channel starting in 2016.

3. How Many Pets Does He Have?

The former soap star is a dog dad to two pups, gold retriever Shadow and Labrador Chance, who are prominent on his social media channels. He used to have two more dogs, German Shepard Dogbert and English bulldog Tito, who have since passed away.

Donovan grew up skiing and snowboarding. He was even part of the U.S. ski team as a teenager. “I was competing for the far west team,” he told TV Insider in December 2020. “I quit that and joined the snowboard team.”

5. How Does He Give Back?

The Savages actor’s initiative, Team Upstanders, is focused on getting students involved in anti-bullying campaigns. Donovan attended his first anti-bullying assembly back in December 2019 to promote the idea that being mean isn’t cool.

“The idea for this whole program is students helping students,” he told TMZ in March 2022 after another assembly, noting there are kid ambassadors within each school to mediate the bullying problems. “It’s to really help kids gain enough courage to help other kids who can’t help themselves.”
