From Mayor of Twitter to Taco Bell connoisseur, Chrissy Teigen is on a roll! The star proved her newfound “political power” was well-earned in a tweet directed at Taco Bell on Tuesday, February 12.
“@tacobell you guys should deliver your taco meat separate from the shell so I can build it myself, thus preventing soggy tacos,” the 33-year-old tweeted at the fast-food chain. “I like to spread out the duration in which I eat them, sometimes I can take hours.”
Hopeful the restaurant would implement her pragmatic suggestion, the Cravings author added: “Thank u.” Given that the California-based chain only just instituted nationwide delivery earlier this month, there’s obviously room for improvement.
When one Twitter follower presented Teigen with a rather easy workaround to her soggy taco problem – just order soft tacos instead of crunchy ones, which are prone to lose their texture when moist – the Lip Sync Battle cohost used that opportunity to offer additional feedback to Taco Bell.
“I wish they had a cool ranch soft taco,” she mused.
Though Teigen’s advice regarding the Mexican staple may seem a bit random, keep in mind that the food-obsessed celeb is somewhat of an expert when it comes to delicious eats – tacos included. In addition to authoring two cookbooks, Teigen is known for frequently indulging her cravings, which she has done in the past by ordering 25 Bottles of A-1 Steak Sauce via Postmates and getting a taco truck delivered to her Los Angeles home in May 2018.
The latter incident, which occurred less than a week prior to the birth of her son Miles, now 8 months, proves the Utah native has a love of tacos that goes beyond the ones that originated in a fast-food restaurant. Her pregnancy cravings hailed from La Unica Tacos y Birria, a food truck known for dishing out some of the tastiest tacos in L.A.
“I’ve been following @tacosybirrialaunica and dying over their posts. NOW THEY ARE IN MY DRIVEWAY,” Teigen wrote on Instagram at the time. “This is a life I do not deserve. These are INSANELY AWESOME. Get the goat!!”
