Eric Church’s Nashville bar is seemingly paying homage to Morgan Wallen’s chair throwing incident.
According to a now-viral TikTok uploaded by Edward James — an apparent bar employee — on Tuesday, March 4, Church’s spot, Chief’s on Broadway, has a new item on its drink menu called “The Chair.”
The beverage features raspberry vodka, raspberry liquor, lemonade and a splash of soda. A mocktail version is also available, according to James. “The Chair” is served in one of Chief’s red cups and features a miniature folding chair resting on top — which purchasers can keep as a souvenir. It costs $19.
“The Chair” is available for purchase on the property’s rooftop bar, the same spot where Wallen, 31, allegedly threw a chair from in April 2024.
The Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed to Us Weekly at the time that officers were standing outside of Chief’s when a chair fell from above and landed on the ground nearby. According to an incident report, police later watched a video that showed Wallen “lunging and throwing an object over the roof.” The country singer was then taken into custody and a bond was set at $15,250. Wallen’s attorney told Us in a statement at the time that the musician was “fully cooperating” with authorities.
While Wallen never shared why he threw the chair off the rooftop, he did take to social media to apologize for his actions.

“I didn’t feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks,” he wrote via X in April 2024. “I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I’m not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility. I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe.”
Eight months after the incident, Wallen was sentenced to one week in a DUI education center and eight months probation after he pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment without a weapon. The initial felony charge of reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct were dismissed.
“The plea agreement with the Office of the District Attorney requires Mr. Wallen to spend 7 days at a DUI Education Center, be on probation for 2 years — one year for each of the misdemeanor charges for reckless endangerment — pay a $350 fine and court fees,” Wallen’s attorney Warrick Robinson said in a statement to Us after his sentencing. “Upon the successful completion of his probation, the charges will be eligible for dismissal and expungement.”
Robinson continued: “Mr. Wallen has cooperated fully with authorities throughout these last eight months, directly communicating and apologizing to all involved. Mr. Wallen remains committed to making a positive impact through his music and foundation.”
