Bottoms up! Celebrities will have the choice to imbibe at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards – the annual ceremony provides dinner and drinks for guests – and now you can drink along with your favorite stars.
Moët & Chandon — the official champagne of the popular awards show — has announced the official cocktail of this year’s ceremony: The Moët Belle, designed by actress and filmmaker, Camilla Belle.
Drawing from her Brazilian roots, Belle, 32, has crafted a recipe that combines Cachaca, mango juice, ginger syrup, lime juice and Moët Brut Impérial. The notes of a classic Brazilian caipirinha are creatively combined with the effervescence of champagne to create a bold cocktail worthy enough for the attendees of the 76th Golden Globe Awards.
What’s more? The Push star’s cocktail is meant to be served in a non-traditional coupe glass and garnished with a white orchid, because this is one of Tinseltown’s most celebrated nights after all.
According to the iconic champagne brand, an estimated 1,500 Moët Impérial minis are expected to be given out on the red carpet, while 125 cases of Moët & Chandon 2008 Grand Vintage Brut and Moët Impérial Rosé Magnums will be placed on the tables during the awards ceremony. Furthermore, more than 500 Moët Belle cocktails will be served at the VIP bars on Hollywood’s biggest night, possibly going to stars such as Elisabeth Moss, Julia Roberts and Michael Douglas, all of whom are nominated this year.
