M&Ms are going global. Though there are now dozens of varieties of the classic chocolate candies, none of them really use any flavors from other countries or cultures … until now!

Per Brent Timm, who runs the popular SnackChatLive Instagram account, Mars, the company that produces M&Ms, plans to release three “internationally-inspired flavors” at some point in 2019.

The flavors – English Toffee Peanut, Mexican Jalapeño Peanut and Thai Coconut Peanut – are expected to be the next group of Flavor Vote contenders. That means, once this trio of flavors is released next year, consumers will have the chance to vote on which variety Mars should keep. Per a press release from the candy company, the most recent Flavor Vote winning variety was Crunchy Mint, which beat out Crunchy Espresso and Crunchy Raspberry to claim the title and a spot in the M&M lineup.

As far as taste is concerned, Delish notes that Timm said the toffee flavor in the English Toffee Peanut flavor is “super pronounced,” which he liked, while the Mexican Jalapeño Peanut variety was his second favorite flavor.

In a subsequent Instagram Story, Timm deemed the Thai Coconut Peanut M&Ms his least favorite of the three, but said he still enjoyed them thanks to “just the right amount of coconut flavor,” which he likened more to coconut oil as opposed to the coconut flavor of a Mounds.

And even though this trio of M&M flavors is unlike any consumers are familiar with, people seem eager to give them a shot. “I need these in my life,” wrote one Instagram user. Another added: “Time to try them all.”
