Can one ever eat too many tacos? According to On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, the answer is no. The restaurant chain announced on Thursday, September 27, that it plans to sell “endless tacos” for $8.99 on Thursday, October 4, which also happens to be National Taco Day.
Per a press release, the endless-taco promotion, which applies to dine-in orders only, means customers will be able to mix and match as many Seasoned Ground Beef or Chicken Tinga tacos as they want – in crunchy or soft taco form – all day long, along with rice, beans and bottomless, fresh chips and salsa.
“Our tacos have been a fan favorite of Mexican food lovers for years thanks to our hand-pressed tortillas, authentic seasonings, and quality, grain-fed USDA beef and chicken,” said Rebecca Miller, senior vice president of marketing for On the Border.
In addition to the endless-taco promotion, the Mexican chain will also offer a 15 percent discount on all catering orders of Taco Buffets totaling $200 or more.
“If you really love tacos, then the best way to celebrate National Taco Day is by treating yourself to as much taco goodness as possible,” Miller continued.
However, On the Border is not the only Mexican eatery offering deals for National Taco Day. America’s best Mexican restaurant, Taco Bell, will be selling $5 National Taco Day gift sets featuring tacos from around the world, while Fuzzy’s Tacos will offer $1 tacos. National chains Jimboy’s Tacos and Taco Bueno are both offering BOGO deals.
