The wait for Tom Tom is (almost) over!
Vanderpump Rules’ resident Toms – Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz – have been hard at work for more than a year as they’ve been preparing to open their bar, Tom Tom, and it now appears the debut is about two weeks away.
Sandoval spilled the exciting news in an Instagram post from July 1, in which he thanked several people, including his bosses and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd, for the role they played in making Tom Tom a reality. At the end of season five of Vanderpump Rules, Lisa offered the Toms a chance to work with her on their own establishment, and after a bit of turmoil, they took her up on the offer.
“Cheers to Ken & @lisavanderpump for all their hard work & patience! Cheers to Pandora and Jason for all their hard work with menu & internal organization!” the 35-year-old wrote alongside a photo of him raising a glass.
He went on to thank designer Nick Alain, who was featured on season six of Vanderpump Rules while construction on Tom Tom was underway. The bartender even praised his business partner Schwartz, 35, for “stepping up and becoming obsessed with cocktails & drink ingredients.”
What’s more? Vanderpump Rules costar Stassi Schroeder even got a shoutout for creating the “Outfit of the Day” holiday before Sandoval finally spilled the beans about his own endeavor.
“As far as everyone else.. in 3 and a half weeks, I will cheers to u in person when #TomTom opens,” he wrote.
Sandoval had previously told Andy Cohen during an episode of Watch What Happens Live back in April that Tom Tom was scheduled to open at the “end of May” or “early June,” but this time it looks like the real deal.
RadarOnline reports Vanderpump, 57, was recently seen putting the finishing touches on Tom Tom, so the bar’s long-awaited opening certainly seems to be imminent!
