Is the Buca di Beppo in Encino, California, now a must-visit for Bravo fans?
After hearing about the room Dorit Kemsley designed for Buca di Beppo all season, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans will see the finished product at Teddi Mellencamp’s baby shower on the Wednesday, August 19, episode.
Viewers watched the 44-year-old reality TV personality design the Capri Room at the Buca di Beppo in Encino during season 10. Dorit used the collaboration with friend and Buca di Beppo owner Robert Earl to pay tribute to her love for the Isle of Capri.
“Tonight @kylerichards18 and I host @teddimellencamp’s baby shower at the brand new Capri room in @bucadibeppo 🍋🇮🇹,” the swimsuit designer wrote on Wednesday via Instagram. “It was a proud moment for me to see my vision for this room come alive and it was so fun to decorate the room specifically for the shower! 👶🏼 🎀 “
Dorit first opened up about her venture into the restaurant industry on a May episode of RHOBH.
“My son’s godfather, Robert Earl, who’s a very dear friend of ours, owns the chain. When I moved, he’s like, ‘Well you know Buca’s around the corner from you?’ And I said, ‘Oh my gosh, I might need to put my stamp on it.’ And he was just like, ‘Sure,’” she recalled to Denise Richards and Erika Jayne.
While Dorit and husband PK Kemsley previously made headlines for their legal woes, she explained on the show that the couple have never had trouble finding new business ventures.
“I decided to invest in just one location and when you’re starting a new business venture, your reputation is only as good as what was last said about you,” she told Bravo cameras. “Luckily, we have never come across someone fearing to get into business with us.”
Dorit’s costars have been supportive of the venture, with Lisa Rinna even dubbing her the ”The Newest Restaurateur” via Instagram. (The Melrose Place alum may have been taking a shot at Lisa Vanderpump, who quit the series during season 9. The ladies previously frequented Vanderpump’s SUR, TomTom, Pump and now-closed Villa Blanca on the show).
The Capri Room won’t be the only thing on display at Teddi’s baby shower. According to previews for Wednesday’s episode, Brandi Glanville is set to attend and share dirty details of her alleged hook up with Denise at the get-together.
