It’s springtime and we all know what that means. Dresses, obviously! With so many weddings, graduation parties and outdoor events to attend, we’re going to need a lot of dresses. Or maybe we won’t. Why buy 10 different dresses when just one will get the job done, and well? What if it can seamlessly transition into colder weather, too? Trust Us, this is going to be the only party dress we’ll ever need. Unless we want it in multiple colors, of course!
The Calvin Klein Illusion-Trim Fit & Flare Dress has captured so many shoppers’ hearts and earned them all so many compliments. One called this dress “timeless” while another said they wore this to a work function and “felt like the belle of the ball!” That’s the kind of vibe we aspire to achieve! Another shopper offered up some outfit ideas, saying that with the right accessories and a pair of heels, we can turn this into a “fun date night dress.” It doesn’t matter what time of year it is, either. One shopper said they own both a “winter and summer version” and love their look all year round!

That’s right, this fit-and-flare beauty is Calvin Klein! As to be expected from the brand, this dress has wonderfully clean lines and a few accents that make it special and unique. The most notable detail is the illusion mesh trim at the bottom of the skirt, which hits just at the knee. It forms a horizontal stripe look, alternating between the fabric of the dress and see-through mesh. The mesh part, of course, doesn’t go up too high! It just adds visual interest to catch our attention.
Complementing the striped mesh detail at the skirt is the waist. Sitting at our natural waist, separating the fitted bodice and the flared skirt, are two horizontal stripes, which are the same color as the dress’ fabric. These not only match the mesh detailing, but they also help to accentuate the waist, giving us an even more flattering fit!
This sleeveless dress features a jewel neckline. We love a fitted jewel neckline because if we want to accessorize with a necklace, it won’t get in the way or accidentally let the necklace fall inside of our dress when it should be sparkling on the outside. Even if we don’t want to wear a necklace, a jewel neckline is perfect for that too, because it doesn’t look like anything’s missing!
One must-have for our party dresses is stretchiness, and this dress has it. The fabric has spandex in it, so if we need to bust a move when the DJ plays our favorite song, we’ll have no problems, apart from our two left feet. This also means the comfort factor shoots way up, which is super important because we’ll be wearing this for a few hours at a time, minimum.

Just as this dress is easy to move around in, it’s also easy to put on or take off! There’s a concealed zipper in the back so we won’t have to worry about stretching it out or ruining our hair and makeup while slipping it over our head.
This A-line party dress is currently available in five colors. Looking for a little black dress? Check out this one! Considering both the color and fit, this LBD is incredibly versatile and we’ll want to wear it every day. Unless we’d prefer some color, in which case we might choose Capri, a cobalt blue. It’s vibrant, it’s fun and it matches so well with other bright colors!
If we’re looking for a calmer blue, we should check out the Serene shade. It’s more of a sky blue, perfect for spring occasions and pairing with a peachy pink lipstick. Speaking of pink, also on the lighter side is Blossom. It’s a pale pink that gives us a polished and pretty look, even if we’re about to embarrass ourselves on the dance floor. Again.
Lastly is Cream, a white shade. We can’t recommend wearing this to a wedding (unless we’re the bride), but that doesn’t mean we can’t rock it anywhere and everywhere else. Pair it with any, or every color of the rainbow or keep it cool and angelic with white and silver accessories.
Now that we’ve found our perfect party dress, all that’s left to do is party! Cue the dance music!
