Michelle Obama and Pippa Middleton seem to have a joint style crush on espadrille wedges and we may be falling head over heels right behind them!
Obama gave us all a lesson on chic summer concert style in mid-July when she attended Beyoncé and Jay-Z‘s show in Paris. The former first lady hung out and danced alongside Tina Knowles wearing an all-white ensemble and platform espadrilles.
Meanwhile, Duchess Kate‘s younger sister is practically the espadrille queen! The mom-to-be has been spotted repeatedly wearing the comfy footwear over the years in a variety of colors, particularly by the brand Castañer.
In July, Middleton was spotted at Wimbledon three times rocking different espadrille styles. On July 5, the cookbook author attended the tennis tournament wearing a broderie anglaise dress by Anna Mason London and blue Penelope Chilvers wedges. Less than a week later, she slipped into a Polo Ralph Lauren shirtdress, which she paired with black wraparound espadrille wedges.
Middleton attended Wimbledon again on July 13 with her husband James Matthews wearing a slightly higher-wedged pair in beige that teamed nicely with her Anna Mason London prairie dress. Simply stunning!
