This post is brought to you by Us Weekly’s Shop With Us team. The Shop With Us team aims to highlight products and services our readers might find interesting and useful, such as wedding-guest outfits, purses, plus-size swimsuits, women's sneakers, bridal shapewear, and perfect gift ideas for everyone in your life. Product and service selection, however, is in no way intended to constitute an endorsement by either Us Weekly or of any celebrity mentioned in the post.

The Shop With Us team may receive products free of charge from manufacturers to test. In addition, Us Weekly receives compensation from the manufacturer of the products we write about when you click on a link and then purchase the product featured in an article. This does not drive our decision as to whether or not a product or service is featured or recommended. Shop With Us operates independently from the advertising sales team. We welcome your feedback at ShopWithUs@usmagazine.com. Happy shopping!

We want to assure everyone that they did, in fact, read the title of this article correctly. Everlane is changing the retail game and we are so here for it. The brand’s entire sale selection is currently “Choose What You Pay!” We can pick one of three price options for this tunic, from 20% off all the way up to 40% off!

So why can we choose our own price for the Poplin V-Neck Tunic Shirt? According to Everlane, the brand loved this style so much that it actually overproduced the piece. Everlane is famous for its transparency, so we love that the brand is staying true to that even here.

Before we get into pricing details, let’s look at why shoppers are loving this versatile tunic so much. One called it “smart but easygoing,” while another called it a “timeless wardrobe addition.” Others eased our more practical worries, raving that it’s definitely “comfy” and “not see-through” at all!

The original price of this tunic is $55, which was already a deal considering the traditional retail price of $120. That traditional retail price makes all of Everlane’s sale selection that much sweeter. So, let’s look into why Everlane chose these three prices and what they mean.

The 40% off option, which is just $33, covers the basic development, production and fulfillment costs of this tunic. So why pay more? Everlane tells us. The 30% off option, which is $39, covers all of the above, with the extra dollars helping to cover office overhead. The 20% option, which is $44, covers everything the other options cover, along with future product development!

This crisp white top is made of 100% cotton. It features a V-neckline, but it’s nothing like a casual V-neck tee. It’s accented with a single pleat detail at the front placket, which adds a “refined touch” to the tunic. Also adding some sophistication is the rounded hem, which hits below the hip. On each side we’ll find a slit. This adds beautiful detail if we want to leave this tunic untucked.

The sleeves are long, though with their wide button cuffs, we can easily fold them back for a three-quarter-length look. The length of a sleeve can make a huge difference in the vibe our outfit is giving off, so we love that we can easily experiment without any slouching worries!

Everlane suggests wearing this tunic with a pair of shorts or denim jeans. It’s a classic clean and casual look that will never go out of style. We can play around with other styles as well, though! This is a “plain” white top, after all! Tuck it into a colorful, swirling skirt or let it hang loose over leggings for a naturally chic look that’s just as comfortable as it is cute.

We can most definitely wear this tunic to fit any dress code, from casual, to business attire, to even semi-formal with a pair of heels! All that’s left to do is pick and price and prepare a hanger!
