Let’s be real – black is always going to be the new black. It’s the most flattering shade on the planet. It’s edgy, it’s classy and it’s probably deserving of a Nobel Peace Prize. We love wearing it, and we always will, but especially as summertime nears, we get a little itch to add a pop of color into our 95% black wardrobe.
But color is scary! If we’re doing it wrong, that is. If anyone knows Us, they know that when we do color, we do it right without question. We refuse to have it any other way. This drapey top is going to be flattering on anyone who wears it. It hangs loosely against skin, while its split V-neckline and sleeve length still create structure and shape. It’s extra comfortable and as easy as putting on a T-shirt! We’re really loving the Meadow shade right now, which can easily be paired with any shade of denim. We’re especially feeling a pair of black jeans and a white canvas sneaker right now!

Sam Edelman Natalya Mule
Pops of color don’t necessarily need to be bright and bold. They can be metallic and chic, too! That’s why we have heart eyes for these Rose Gold leather mules and their retro-chic appeal. Their pointy toe and woven upper are so stylish, but their slip-on functionality is easy as pie! Shoppers say the Natalya mule is the “perfect summer slide,” and we agree wholeheartedly. Perfect for wearing with all black, too!

Halogen Faux Wrap Dress
Don’t want to ditch black completely? That’s fine by us! In that case, we have a couple of options when it comes to this floral Halogen dress. The Black Floral version has a black background with purple flowers, while the Black-Pink Floral features red and pink blooms throughout. These flowers are an excellent pop, and the cinched waist and short-drop shoulder sleeves are like a dream!

Kate Spade Large Molly Leather Tote
We don’t necessarily have to wear anything colorful to fit a pop of color into our outfit. We can accessorize colorfully instead! The Rococo Pink and Hot Chili shades of this Kate Spade tote are great pieces to start with (and keep forever). This leather bag is extra roomy and shoppers say it’s a great choice for anyone who carries their “life” inside their bag!

Topshop Ayla Belted Eyelet Trouser
These pleated pants are even softer than most pairs of jeans and just as easy to wear. They’re lined and feature an adorable pie-crust waist with an eyelet belt. Shoppers are saying they’re “stylish and flattering” and love how high quality they are. The pink shade, which is a pretty dusty rose, just shot to the top of our wish list and would look excellent with a black blouse and flats!
