The idea of shorts is great. They should let our legs breathe in the warm weather and they should eliminate any chance of indecent exposure, unlike with a miniskirt. Keyword: “should.” Some shorts, however, ride up with any little movement we make, or even when we’re just sitting still, stoic like a statue. Denim short-shorts are a huge culprit of this, and we have to spend all day pulling them back down. We like the look of short-shorts though; we don’t want to entirely switch to Bermuda shorts or even capris!

We won’t have to constantly back ourselves into a corner to try to secretly fix them as they ride up farther than we ever meant them to go. They have a more relaxed fit so we can stay relaxed ourselves!

Shoppers are already recommending we buy multiple pairs of these shorts in different colors. They’re calling them “super comfortable” and “flattering,” granting them the unofficial title of “perfect summer shorts.” One said they even “fit like a dream,” which seems like a faraway dream compared to our insanely uncomfortable shorts back at home!
These 100% linen shorts are made to be breathable and lightweight, because when the temperature soars, we want to be wearing as few layers as possible. They have a stretchy, drawstring waist, which we can adjust for a flawless fit, and they come down to about mid-thigh.
So what makes these shorts so different than athletic cotton shorts, for example? Well, there’s the material, the fit, the adjustability and the fashion factor, of course, but we also want to point out the pockets! There are two side slant pockets, but it doesn’t end there! There are two back welt pockets too, which are perfect for when we’re on the go!

Caslon’s goal is to consistently create “effortless” essentials like these shorts, which explains their easy wearability. They’re machine-washable, too!
If we’re looking to take a denim-like approach, we should check out Navy Crossdye, a blue blend with a blue drawstring for a look as cozy as sweat-shorts but with a similar visual to jeans. We can also try the Black shade for a color that we can wear pretty much every single day of the season!
Other colors include Olive Sarma, a versatile green, and Ivory – Black Stripe, which has horizontal stripes running along the waistline which turn to vertical down to the hem!
These shorts are certainly great for sunny spring and summer days, but that’s not going to stop Us from wearing them in the fall and winter, too! Layering a pair of black tights, or even playing with colorful tights will not only work well visually, but comfort-wise, too, since the shorts don’t cling to our shape.
But for now, catch Us wearing these shorts with everything this season, like tank tops, cropped tees, button-up blouses, bikini tops and bandeaus. We know no one will be catching Us hiking these shorts down, though, since we’re putting that issue to rest, tucking it in and shutting the door for good!
