Everyone knows that finding a pair of comfortable heels for the summer season is much like trying to find the right exercise routine and diet at the start of the New Year. It’s a resolution we promise ourselves that we will complete, but rarely we do. You see the unfortunate thing about these “resolutions” isn’t that we don’t want to complete them, it’s that we actually can’t complete them.
Finding the perfect pair of heels? Well, that’s as difficult as finding the right gym — or even finding “The One.” It’s a time-consuming search that rarely ends with much success. Some heels are too high while others are too low, and don’t even get Us started on the ones that hurt or cause blisters! It’s not that we don’t want to find the right pair, it’s just a hard task. But this pair not only restored our faith, but it also did so in the most fashion-forward of ways!

From start to finish, we’re completely smitten with the Everlane Women’s Block Heel Sandals. In fact, we’d even go as far as to say we love this sandal. The 100% Italian leather is so smooth in every single one of the seven shades this sandal is available in. From black to nude and all the pairs in-between, we’re head over heels in love with each and every one of them!
Let’s be clear here, we use the term “head-over-heels” loosely here. Just because we’ve fallen for this shoe, doesn’t mean we’ve quite literally fallen. It’s actually impossible to trip or fall thanks to its design! We’re loving how this sandal found a way to bridge the gap between style and security! The front of this shoe features a thick wide strap and it’s complimented on the side with a buckle closure. This is great when looking to keep our feet locked in tight! We’re especially partial to the buckle closure that can be adjusted for complete control. It’s great when needing a tighter fit on some days and a looser one on others!

We’re also major fans of the very walkable two-inch heel! It’s the easy way to add a little height to our frames while being able to walk with ease. Our legs will look thinner and toned (with no gym sessions required!) without giving us that “towering” look that’s uncomfortable and awkward! Paired with the thick toe strap, this chunky heel gives this shoe a very ’90s-inspire vibe that also happens to be totally trending at the moment, too!
