The 91st Academy Awards are officially over, which means red carpet season has come to a sad and sudden halt. Sadly, this also means no more dreamy dresses and show-stopping shoes for Us to look forward to. On the brighter side, celebrity secrets have started pouring in and we now have endless inspiration for the rest of the year. We were particularly enamored with Best Supporting Actress nominee Emma Stone’s hair at the Oscars, so we just had to find out every single product her stylist, Mara Roszak, used. And we did! We’ve got every single step laid out in order, so let’s get to recreating this stunning look!

Leonor Greyl Condition Naturelle Heat Protective Styling Spray

Roszak started off by rough-drying Stone’s damp hair, going in with this heat protective spray on her roots to encourage volume and just a bit of hold. This product acts as a leave-in conditioner, claiming to protect hair from the otherwise inevitable damage caused by styling tools such as blow dryers, curling irons, flat irons or rollers. This spray may leave our hair shiny and sleek, claiming it won’t weigh down our locks so we can achieve Stone’s pulled-back, low-bun look from this year’s show!

Leonor Greyl Serum de Soie Sublimateur Styling Serum

After finishing up with the Condition Naturelle spray, Roszak moved on to this serum, applying it to the ends of Stone’s hair to prevent frizz during the blowout. This serum has a nourishing botanical formula with jojoba and wheat germ oils, which may hydrate dry locks and strengthen our hair to avoid breakage. It also features hazel seed oil, which may reduce frizz and flyaways while keeping our hair soft and glossy. Just two pumps of this lightweight product and we’re set! One happy shopper said this serum smells like “a bouquet of jasmine in Paris,” and, wow, is there anything chicer than that?

Leonor Greyl Voluforme Styling Spray for Volume and Hold

The next step in creating Stone’s sculptural bun was parting her hair on the right and blow-drying with a round boar-bristle brush. Roszak added two-inch velcro rollers to create extra volume, spraying the hair with Leonor Greyl’s Voluforme, which may set curls quickly, adding hold without stickiness or stiffness. With so many hairsprays out there turning our hair starchy and uncomfortably rigid, we love that we have this stylist-recommended product to reach for instead.

Next, once the rollers had cooled down, Roszak pulled Stone’s locks into a low, tight ponytail with an elastic band. She applied this styling cream, which is said to “restore life” to dry and frizzy hair. Roszak said she wishes this product “came in a tub,” noting how she constantly uses it on her clients, loving its lightweight consistency and, as one shopper put it, its “intoxicating” smell. All we need is a small dot of product and we may also find ourselves as happy shoppers with silky-soft, awards show-worthy hair.

Leonor Greyl Laque Souple Light to Medium Hold Hair Spray

Ready for the final steps? We are! Roszak then wrapped Stone’s hair into a twisted bun, using bobby pins to hold it in place. She then finished off the look with this light hair spray to ensure that Stone’s bun would stay put all night. This spray is recommended for those with “thin, delicate” hair because of its gentle hold. As has become the theme with these Leonor Greyl products, shoppers are also commenting on how great this spray smells. This product may further improve our hair’s shine, making sure not to dry it out while doing so. All we need is a glance at Stone’s glossy, smooth locks to be convinced. This style was perfect to complement her bold dress, but it can also work for us wherever we go! With these products, look out, because our world is about to become our own personal red carpet!
