We are losing our minds right now, to say the least. One of our favorite brands ever, Everlane, just launched a brand new shoe and it may even rival Allbirds as the most comfortable shoe of all time. Yes, things just got real!
The Everlane Day Glove ReKnit is a flat, but “flat” is the last adjective we’d use to describe it. Instead, we’d probably start by calling it innovative, creative, sustainable, cozy and just so incredibly cute. All for under $100! We have plenty to say about this fabulous new shoe, and trust Us, everyone’s going to want to hear every last detail!

The upper of this shoe is nothing like what we picture from a typical flat, but it’s so, so much better. The “summer-ready” fabric may look like a knit sweater, but these shoes won’t leave us sweating. The uniquely-ribbed upper is ultra-lightweight and breathable, making this footwear fabulous for all throughout the summer!
Another super special detail about this shoe is that every pair is actually constructed from eight renewed plastic bottles. Everlane’s eco-friendly commitment to using “no new plastic” is commendable, and maybe it’s just Us, but we feel like that fact makes the shoe that much more comfortable!
Also adding to the luxuriousness of these shoes is the leather insole, which is cushioned for shock absorption and feeling like we’re walking on clouds. On the underside, we’ll find the flexible rubber outsole, which helps to provide traction for a slip-free stride!
If we peek over at the back of this ReKnit flat, we’ll find a leather pull-tab sticking up from the heel, bordered in white stripes, making it easy to slip the shoe on for a glove-like fit. It’s almost sock-like, even, but cooler in both temperature and overall visual effect!

These flats are currently available in five colors, and, warning, there’s a good chance we’re going to want all five. Everyone needs a reliable and stylish pair of black flats, and we’re pointing right to these as the top option. We can also go the complete opposite way and choose the crisp white version instead!
Next we have pink, a light coral shade with hints of flamingo. We love this pink because it functions so well as a neutral even though it’s not technically a nude! For a shoe that goes straight for a pop, we can also check out the vibrant red version, or the mustard yellow, a color that always, always captures compliments!
Everlane is known for its transparency in ethical production and pricing, so the brand provided all of the details for the launch of these Day Glove ReKnit flats. It turns out that these shoes have a traditional retail price of $160, making that under-$100 price tag that much sweeter!
Worried about dirtying up these beauties during picnics, nature walks or from daily wear to work? Don’t stress. They’re incredibly easy to clean. All we need to do is spot-clean them with a cloth! No special or costly processes necessary.
This might be the best Everlane release ever, and that’s saying a lot considering we actually want every single thing on the site. We’re getting ready to live in these shoes, and we don’t even have to pack up to move in — they’ll be delivered right to us!
