Winter still isn’t quite ready to let up. Rude! Sure, spring doesn’t officially start until March 20, but that doesn’t mean it can’t give us a little preview. Well, let’s look on the bright side. The longer the winter, the longer we get to wear our winter clothes! Plus, if we pick the right winter clothes, we can transition them seamlessly into spring, just like this sweater.
This Free People Ottoman Ribbed Tunic Sweater has hundreds of shoppers leaving stellar reviews. This tunic sweater has an oversized slouchy fit, its straight hemline hitting down at the thigh. This means we can wear it with pants, leggings or even with tights as a short sweaterdress! Going along with the oversized look are the dolman sleeves, which drop low and leave plenty of room for us to spread our wings. They taper at the wide cuffs, bringing the look together and keeping our hands free to do their thing, whether that thing is texting, typing, writing, doing our makeup or holding our head up when we’re in a sleepy daze, which is often.
This sweater is constructed of a horizontally-ribbed ottoman fabric, which is thick, but not bulky. It adds a stylish texture that keeps us comfortable with no unwanted itch factor in sight. This fabric collects at a drapey mock neckline, which sits slightly away from our neck for a cowl-like effect that puts hearts in our eyes. Make sure to check out the back of the sweater, which has thinner, vertical ribbing that cleanly cuts off mid-back as the horizontal style takes over once again!
This sweater is selling quickly, some colors running out right before our eyes. Sky is a widely-popular color. It’s a lightly dusted, sunrise lilac, making it perfect for shedding our coats and jackets and wearing into spring. We can also go for Plum, a fruity red that feels like fall. Blue is a vivid cobalt shade that manages to be deep and bright at the same time. We wish it would tell us its secrets!

If we want something more on the pinker, magenta side than Plum, we can go for Mulberry for a fabulous pop that would look great with trendy monotone makeup in pink.
