Game of Thrones is coming to an end, and we want to soak up as much of the show as we can before all we’re left with is reruns and spinoffs (though we’re looking forward to those, too). We’re already throwing watching parties and braiding our hair like Daenerys, but we want to take it a step farther . . . with our makeup! That’s why we need to check out this palette. No spoilers here, unless we count how much this incredible palette is spoiling us!
The Urban Decay Cosmetics Game Of Thrones Eyeshadow Palette is all we’ve ever wanted, even before Game of Thrones premiered. We already trust Urban Decay to produce the best eyeshadow palettes in all of beauty, but the brand really outdid itself for this intricate palette (and the rest of the collection!). This palette features 20 shades that are “inspired by Westeros and the strong women of the Seven Kingdoms,” so it should come as no surprise that they are beautiful, strong and stunning!

This detailed palette is a straight-up work of art. Open the top to find a quote from Daenerys and a wide mirror. See that ribbon pull tab sticking up? Pull that up to reveal a pop-up Iron Throne replica underneath! How amazing would that look on our vanity? Who knew obtaining the Iron Throne would be this easy? Under the throne, we’ll also find another quote from the fan-favorite Tyrion Lannister!
Okay, all of that is amazing on its own, but we want to talk about the actual eyeshadows, too! Their names are all inspired by the show, and they’re separated into four sections: House Targaryan, House Lannister, House Stark and White Walkers. They consist of jewel tones, earth tones, metallics and shimmers, and each section also has a holographic transformer shade to add an extra pop when layered on. We can also use these transformer shades as highlighters for our face!
Are some of the stunning shades making you consider treason? Even if we’re team Stark all the way, no one is going to throw us into a dungeon just because we want to wear the matte Lannister Red, for example. Plus, in the show, everyone may want to avoid the White Walkers, but here, the shades all work together flawlessly! Eternal peace achieved.

The elaborateness of these colors is as intense as the palette design itself. Take Bend the Knee, a lilac shade with a blue shift, for example, or Stormborn, a metallic purple with an iridescent micro-shimmer. Looking to go smokey? Check out the White Walkers shades, particularly Take the Black, which is a true black also with an iridescent micro-shimmer. Each color is as incredible as the last, and we’re using all of the self-control we have to not layer every single one on at once!
Even when we inevitably hit pan on each shade of this palette, it’s okay, because we’ll still have this collector’s item to display as winter comes again and again. In the meantime, we’ll be watching the upcoming episodes even more attentively than usual to look for some makeup inspiration!
