If you’ve ever gone thrift shopping, you know that there’s nothing harder than finding the perfect pair of vintage Levi’s. They’re not difficult to spot, per se — most vintage stores carry plenty of pairs — but finding ones that fit you can be like spotting a needle in a haystack. The Levi’s Wedgie Icon Fit High Waist Crop Jeans are great for fans of the vintage look. The style is inspired by the original high-waisted look, but have a bit more stretch and give. While they’re still a relatively stiff pair of jeans, they conform to hug your curves as opposed to chafing against them. The high waist hits right below or just at the bellybutton (depending on your height), and cinches in at the waist for a flattering, hourglass-like finish. They’re also cropped right above the ankle, so you can easily show off your footwear.
Don’t think the bleached style is automatically just a summer staple. Offset the light wash with black kitten heel ankle booties and a chunky knit turtleneck for an outfit that’s truly made for fall. Keep in mind that like most Levi’s, these do have a weight to them — a quality you’re sure to cherish once it gets too cold out for your lightweight stretchy leggings.
Both our (and reviewers’) favorite part about the jeans? That they’re so flattering! One reviewer insisted “they look really good in the butt” and that the button fly helps minimize the appearance of a tummy.
