When we were younger, we always dreamed of owning our own Marc Jacobs bag. It takes simple details and reinvents them in a way that’s so fresh and exciting, it makes us see our handbags in an entirely different light. It’s magical, but the magic show doesn’t end there. This bag has a couple of different personalities. It comes in two forms: crossbody or strapless. We can remove the strap based on our mood, the look we’re going for or the event we’re attending. The bag is on the smaller side, so it works perfectly either way!
This bag is made of 100% cowhide leather, which is a solid and smooth black. It has a top zip closure, featuring gold-tone hardware. Off the zipper hangs a sleek and simple tassel that reaches down the height of the bag. On the front of the bag, we’ll find another storage compartment in the form of a smaller, attached pouch. This pouch has a matching zip closure with a matching tassel knotted on as well!
On this front pouch we’ll find a gold-tone logo, reading “Marc Jacobs New York” in small, capital letters. That’s not all we’ll find at the front of this bag, however. There’s also a horizontal leather strap that runs across the over-8-inch width of the bag, crossing over the front pouch!

This added strap detail clinches the deal, turning this bag from favorite-worthy to an absolute essential. It’s so unexpectedly cool. It’s functional, too! If we’re ditching the shoulder strap for the day, we can slip our hand through this mini one to carry the bag easily, using it as more of a clutch!
The inside of this Marc Jacobs bag is fully lined. It can fit all of our essentials, leaving the old receipts, candy wrappers and what we thought was lost lip balm for our casual totes to carry instead. We can keep our wallet, keys and phone in here, and we’re probably going to throw in a mini face mist, an extra tube of mascara and a protein bar inside, too!
This bag works for any look, whether we’re keeping things casual with ripped jeans and a partially tucked-in tee, or dressing up in a wide leg jumpsuit and chunky heels. Not going to lie, we’d even bring it to the beach! That’s how much we don’t want to be without it. We can collect shells in the front pouch! After making sure they’re clean and dry, of course.
