Michael Kors has been a mainstay in the fashion world for decades. The designer brand is no doubt a leader in accessories, clothing, shoes and even fragrance, and will be for decades to come. The letters “MK” make our hearts skip a beat, and when we see them accompanied by a “60% off,” our heart starts skipping all over town.
The MICHAEL Michael Kors Hailee Crossgrain Leather Satchel is sending our hearts skipping across the globe. It’s perfect for “the 9 to 5 and beyond” and it’s even more perfect when we imagine it hanging on the crook of our arm. The sale on this bag is so good, we’re afraid it might not be available for long. It’s a Macy’s Last Act piece, so don’t let the curtains close before grabbing one to keep!

Shoppers are describing this leather satchel as both “beautiful” and “classy.” It seems to have hit that sweet spot in size, with one reviewer calling it “not too big and not too small.” Just right. It’s “a spacious gem,” as another reviewer put it. One shopper who recommended the bag said they initially had purchased another brand-name bag, but it fell apart after just a few weeks, so they switched to the Hailee. They lamented not buying the bag “the first time around,” but all is well now!
This bag as a “sporty” silhouette, with no loud pops or obnoxious, in-the-way details. It’s sleek and simple, great for everyday wear. It has a 14-inch width, so we can fit all we’d need on a daily basis inside and maybe just a few extra tchotchkes as well.
This bag has two top handles which we can carry on our arm or in our hand, as well as a removable, adjustable strap for crossbody or shoulder wear, featuring a metallic buckle. All of the hardware on the Hailee bags is gold-toned, apart from the black version, which opts for silver accents instead.
This satchel is all about pockets. What a coincidence? So are we! Before we head inside of the bag, we want to point out the front zipper pocket and the back slip pocket. Notice the subtle logo embellishment of the Michael Kors name over the front zipper, too!

Now we’ll use the flap-over snap closure to peek inside. On the interior of the bag, we’ll first notice the lining, which has a gleaming chain-link logo design. Each shade has a champagne-colored lining except for black, which, again, opts to be different, keeping the lining black as well.
Back to pockets. There is a center interior zip pocket, which separates the bag into two compartments for easier and more organized storage. We’ll find multiple more pockets inside, with slips and zips everywhere we look! The more pockets, the better. We like to keep makeup in one, reserve another for our phone, one for our wallet and another for a rollerball perfume or facial mist. Obviously we’re also going to have a snack and gum pocket, too!
Back on the outside of the bag, we also want to point out the bottom, which features four mini metallic feet. These feet are crucial for not only protecting the leather of our bag from dirt and damage, but they also help the bag stay upright when we need to put it down for easy grab-and-go. Plus, if our bag is standing up straight, we can that much more easily marvel at its glory.
This Hailee satchel is currently available in four colors. For now! We have no doubt these bags may not be in stock for long. To keep it classic, go for the aforementioned black bag. We can also choose to lighten things up slightly with Navy, a midnight blue, its sparkling gold hardware like stars.
Looking for a brown bag? Make sure to look into the Luggage shade! If we’re looking for a pop, though, Light Terracotta is the way to go. It’s a red-orange shade with bits of coral blended in to create a color that’s sure to turn heads.
This leather satchel can be in our lives for years to come, but only if we actually secure one for ourselves, so excuse Us — we have some shopping to do!
