Perfumes are tricky. We can read a scent’s description over and over, spray it onto a paper tab and smell it on a friend, but then when we finally buy a bottle . . . it isn’t always the right scent for us. We can take a short quiz to get started. One that we’ll inevitably ace! We answer questions about locations, foods and other perfumes we already prefer, and Scentbird analyzes our answers, presenting us with a hefty list of perfumes we might like. The site’s TruScent Recommender uses an algorithm to help us find our dream scent meant for only us, not anyone else. To further refine our recommendations, we can rate perfumes we’ve already tried!
We can either choose from our recommended list, or look for something else, searching by brand, mood, occasion or personality. Perfumes are not as shallow as they seem. Certain scents can evoke certain emotions, so we love this detailed search.
Click into each product to view all of the information and fragrance notes. We can then add whatever we want to try to our queue, picking what we want for each month. We can either receive one product per month, two or three! It’s not just perfume and cologne either; there are top makeup and skincare products to choose from too. And candles!

The perfume will be delivered straight to our door with no added shipping cost. Since these are monthly supplies, they’ll come in sleek, travel-sized vials with enough fragrance for 30 days. This means we don’t have to send anything back, and we won’t be left with a perfume graveyard, either!
Want a free fragrance? Who doesn’t? To score one for ourselves, all we have to do is invite our friends to join Scentbird as well and have them subscribe. Do they need a little extra incentive?
