The ‘70s inspiration lies in the overall shape of these boots, with their 4⅓-inch block heel boosting us up toward the sky, aided by a platform sole for easy walking and balancing.
On the insides of our feet are zippers, featuring gold hardware and a brown leather pull tab. This zipper allows us to take these shoes off and put them on without worrying about stretching or destroying the supple suede. It seems so obvious, but so many shoes out there can’t get it right. These Katelyn boots did it so right that we’re almost suspicious, but we know we can just trust L.K. Bennett to only make the highest quality footwear.
These boots hit just above the ankle, offering us support while still measuring in short enough to show some leg as part of our “off-duty outfits.” It’s also the perfect length for showing no leg at all, since jeans and pants will fall just where the shoe begins. Serendipity! Even if our pants are slightly too long, we can cuff them at the bottom which will not only solve our problem, but look super cute! There are few things a good cuff or two can’t fix.
This shoe is made of 100% leather, and that includes the sole! The sole is a light beige, which fits beautifully with the surrounding suede and features L.K. Bennett’s name. When our friends refuse to believe we finally got our own pair of the iconic brand’s shoes, all we have to do is pop a foot up and everyone will go silent. That, or they’ll start screaming and wondering how we got such an immense deal. Either way, we’re more than content.

We can slip on an airy mididress or a fitted black dress and we’ll be ready for anything. Rather spring for a denim pencil skirt? Why not? We would also love to see these shoes under a wide-leg jumpsuit. They won’t get lost underneath the legs like a flat or sandal might, and will elongate our legs even more.
