How many times have we looked at the same exact dress hanging in our closet, considered getting rid of it, but ended up keeping it around just in case? How many years have we let pass with that mindset? We’re putting a stop to it today, but the only way to do so is with a dress that actually deserves that spot in our closet — one that we’ll actually wear!
Our problem with the I.N.C. Floral-Print Shift Dress isn’t a style that we won’t want to wear, it’s that we won’t want to stop wearing it! We can’t imagine leaving this beauty behind closed doors for any extended period of time. It’s just too pretty! We don’t want to leave it waiting at Macy’s for too long either, though, because it’s on sale, but for a very limited time only!
Reviewers are saying that this dress “feels like spring” and looks “even better in person” than it does online. It has a shift silhouette with a relaxed fit, its material draping and flowing breezily down to the hem, which hits above the knee. It may be mini, but this is no club attire. It has a whimsical, romantic feel, making it ideal for more formal occasions or candlelit dinner dates!
This dress has a V-neckline and long blouson sleeves, a hugely fashion-forward trend. We’re big fans, as these sleeves are not only charming, but so functional! Because they gather at the wrist, we’ll never be stuck pushing our sleeves up all day in order to actually use our hands!
Another gorgeous and unexpected detail of this dress is the back. It has a split back neckline, with a tie at the nape of our neck, forming a delicate, lush bow. The loose ends of this bow can drape all the way down to mid-back!
This dress is available in six colors and prints, though one is almost gone. That would be the Black Floral version, which features a black base with pink, purple and green floral details. The other options are just as gorgeous, though. We’re majorly into the Sky Blue/Pink. It has a light blue fabric with a beautiful, oversized pink flower print, with the leaf accents actually playing with blue and white instead of green! We’ll be wearing this to every wedding we’re invited to for the foreseeable future.
Other floral versions include Ivory/Navy, which includes touches of yellow that are sure to bring a little bit of sunshine wherever we go, and Brown/White. The Brown/White version almost looks like a merging of floral print and leopard print, two undying trends that we happen to love, love, love!
This dress may have “floral” in its name, but there are solid options available too! Pink Punch is a vibrant Barbie pink, but if we want to keep it even simpler, Black is the way to go!
We’ll be rocking this dress all spring and summer, but those long sleeves are ideal for transitioning into fall, too. We’ll have our tights ready when the time comes!
