While Travis Kelce didn’t take home a Super Bowl ring at the end of the 2025-2026 season, he’s kicking off what is believed to be his final NFL season with some extra hardware nonetheless — his wedding ring.
Clad in a polo shirt and black pants, Kelce, 36, walked into Arrowhead Stadium on Monday, September 14, about two hours before the scheduled kickoff for the game between his Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos. Though sunglasses covered his eyes, his left hand was clearly visible, properly adorned with a gold watch and the wedding ring he donned in the offseason after he married Taylor Swift.
Swift, 36, and Kelce said “I do” in July during a star-studded Madison Square Garden ceremony, officiated by Adam Sandler.
“It was the best night of my life,” Kelce told Chris Berman during Monday Night Countdown. “Marrying Taylor, it was more than I could have ever dreamed it to be because of all the people that showed up and the amount of love that was in the air.”
Kelce and Swift have been dating since the summer of 2023, and in the years since she has made regular appearances at Arrowhead Stadium — and on the road — to support him.
In the process, Swift has become part of the Chiefs family, with Kelce’s teammates and coaches getting to know her.
“I’m happy for them,” head coach Andy Reid told reporters when the couple announced their engagement in 2025. “It’s hard to find somebody that you fall in love with. That’s not an easy thing, to really fall in love. And it seems like they’re there. I think it’s a great deal for both of them.”
Reid, 68, continued, “They like being around each other. That’s a plus, I think. They’re both busy people in their own right. Both are very famous in their own right. It’s kinda neat that they come together and handle themselves the way they do.”
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is also a close friend of Kelce’s, joked in April that meeting Swift was one of the highlights of his Kansas City tenure.
“It would be to play at Arrowhead Stadium and just have all the fans and Chiefs Kingdom out there,” Mahomes, 30, said of his favorite moment of being part of the Chiefs while speaking at the local event. “That’s a lot of fun.”
Mahomes added, “I got to meet Taylor Swift, that was pretty cool too.”
His wife, Brittany Mahomes, has also gushed about Swift, calling her and Kelce, “Two of the most genuine people” in an Instagram tribute when they got engaged.
