Amal Clooney (née Alamuddin) embraced spring style in New York on Thursday, March 31, in a mod-inspired look that definitely turned heads.
The London barrister, 38, rocked a bright orange, ribbed sheath Akris dress, which she paired with a white bag and wild, double-take–worthy boots.
The Altuzarra Callie Floral Knee High Boots (from the Fall/Winter 2016 line, not yet available) feature an all-over black and white, vine-like floral pattern and chunky heels. The human rights lawyer’s statement-making footwear perfectly balanced the rest of her solid pieces.
While Clooney is in New York this week, she and husband George Clooney are based out of London and have homes in Lake Como, Italy, and Los Angeles. With such a jet-set lifestyle, it would be easy to get overwhelmed. But the Money Monster actor says the duo follows one simple guideline to stay on the same page.
“We have a rule whereby we are never apart for more than a week,” the Oceans Eleven alum, 54, told Hello! “We also stay in touch via social media, so we try to keep close even if we’re in different parts of the world.”
