Mermaid hair for everyone!
Hilary Duff debuted her teal tresses via Instagram on March 18—but she isn't the only Younger actor rocking the bright hue! Her costar, Nico Tortorella, revealed his own aqua-dyed 'do on the red carpet at the premiere of the stars' new TV Land series in NYC on Tuesday, March 31.
While the pair didn't coordinate on purpose per se, Tortorella, 26, dished to Us Weekly, "I knew [Hilary] went green, so I texted her and I was like, 'Yo! I'm going to dye my hair.' She said, 'Cool, you should go blue!' When we met up yesterday, she had gotten her hair re-dyed and my hair had faded a little bit. So coincidentally, we landed on the exact same color."
"It's adorable," the actor, who also snapped an Instagram pic of the stars' matching 'dos, added. "I mean, we're like a little mermaid and merman running around!"
Also adorable: How much Tortorella (who plays Josh) enjoyed filming with a nearly all-female cast, which also includes Sutton Foster (who plays Liza, his love interest) and Debi Mazar (who plays Maggie). "We genuinely had a great time together. Usually, there's one bad seed, but there just isn't on this show. Maybe if there was another guy, but it's just four women and me," he told Us.
Clearly thrilled to be surrounded by the cast of beautiful women, he added, "It was fantastic—absolutely incredible. I would do this a million times over."
