Yeezys for everybody! Kim Kardashian and her sister Kourtney showed off the newest Adidas Original Yeezy Boost 350 Infant sneakers in Wednesday, August 24, Snapchat stories.
Kim, 35, who’s known to give her followers exclusive sneak peeks of the sneakers designed by her husband, Kanye West, snapped an entire wall of shoeboxes along with two pairs of baby-size kicks. The tiny tennis shoes, in Turtle Dove and Pirate Black, are exact replicas of the bestselling adult versions.
“Baby Yeezys just came in! They’re about to launch soon. Everybody get ready,” the mom of Saint, 8 months, and North, 3, said in the clip.
Kourtney, 37, also gave a preview of the unboxed kicks. “Mini Yeezy’s!!!!!” she captioned a video, panning over four pairs of the small sneakers. The mom of Mason, 6, Penelope, 4, and Reign, 19 months, then shared a picture of her youngest son wearing a Pirate Black sneaker on his left foot and a Turtle Dove kick on his right.
The $130 baby Boosts will hit shelves Saturday, August 27 and will be available in sizes 5 to 10. And the hefty price tag shouldn’t come as a surprise. ln July, Highsnobiety reported that the Yeezy Boost is the most valuable sneaker of the year thus far when it comes to resale value. For example, take a look at the $350 Yeezy 750 Boost Glow (for adults), which was released June 11. It sold out in one minute, and has a resale value of $1,471 — a 400 percent markup.
