Travis Kelce’s haircut isn’t going anywhere.
Kelce’s barber, Patrick Regan, known as Patty Cuts, shared a hilarious text from the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 36, after his team defeated the Miami Dolphins this past weekend with a final score of 24-10.
“The fade giving me powers dawg,” Kelce, 36, wrote to his barber, 37, which he shared via Instagram on Sunday, September 27.
“🐐,” Regan captioned the post.
Regan has been cutting Kelce’s hair since 2018 and the duo has formed a close bond.
“I’ve been cutting Travis’s hair for six years,” he said during a 2024 episode of “The Tease” podcast. “We’ve been doing the same thing every year. Same haircut.” Once now-wife Taylor Swift entered the picture, Kelce was persuaded to change up his look.
“Now [that] Taylor’s here, everything’s changed because she’s such an icon,” he gushed. “Everything is drastically bigger.”
In August of that year, Kelce’s teammate Patrick Mahomes revealed to SiriusXM NFL Radio host Bruce Murray and Alex Smith that Kelce grew his hair out for the singer, 36, whom he married in July.
“I’ve been trying to get him to grow his hair out and all of a sudden Taylor gets him to do it,” Mahomes, 31, laughed.
Regan also gushed about Swift and said she “is a super sweet person.”
“We connected real well,” he shared during the podcast, noting that they both are from Pennsylvania. “She just seems like a girl I went to high school with. She’s a really nice person. Always interested in what you’re saying. It’s been a really cool year.”
Kelce has flown Regan out to many of his Chiefs games, which he opened up about in February 2023 via Instagram. “I’ve been a DieHard Eagles Fan my whole life, but how am I supposed to root against this guy? Lol @killatrav,” he wrote ahead of the Super Bowl. “Someone [who’s] treated me like family the past 5 years, I sleep at his house every weekend, and couldn’t be a genuinely nicer, humble human being. Who you guys rooting for in my situation? 😂 It’s a Win-Win to me.”
