Alert! The filming of the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is just days away, and the lingerie brand announced that Angel Elsa Hosk has been tapped to model this year’s Dream Angels Fantasy Bra. As is custom, the Atelier Swarovski-bedazzled design is valued at $1 million, and the blonde beauty debuted the sparkling creation at a photocall in NYC on Monday, November 5.
Quite literally the crown jewel of the angelic runway event, the balconette-like bra and coordinating body chain is adorned with over 2,100 Swarovski-created diamonds and responsibly sourced topaz. According to the brand, the dazzling 71-carat style took over 930 hours to build.
While the Swedish model will shine bright in the sparking bra on the runway, there is now a way for Us mere mortals to get our hands on a similar (though slightly more affordable) version. For the first time ever, Victoria’s Secret will debut a ready-to-wear edition of the fantasy bra. Made with Swarovski crystals just like the OG, the piece will retail for $250 and be available for purchase beginning Thursday, November 29, at VictoriasSecret.com.
Hosk joins catwalk queens like Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Gisele Bündchen, Miranda Kerr and last year’s Lais Ribeiro as the lucky wearer of the fantasy bra. Ribeiro’s 2017 “Champagne Nights” Fantasy Bra was designed by Mouawad and valued at some $2 million thanks to its diamonds, yellow sapphires and blue topaz.
Hosk will walk the runway in the 2018 Fantasy Bra with the rest of the VS Angel crew during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Holiday Special, which airs Sunday, December 2 at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
