Could it be? Duchess Meghan stepped out for her first post-baby appearance on Saturday, June 8, and sported a new piece of jewelry, which had fans speculating the bling is a push present from her husband, Prince Harry.
While waving to onlookers at the annual Trooping the Colour parade to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II‘s birthday, eagle-eyed fans caught a look at the 37-year-old Suits alum’s new pavé-set ring. The placement of the band, which sits next to Meghan’s wedding ring, hinted at the fact that the former military pilot, 34, potentially gifted it to his wife after she gave birth to their son, Archie, last month.
Twitter users took to the social media platform to gush over the idea of Harry’s intimate gesture. “I can’t wait to have better pictures of Meghan’s eternity ring. I think it’s definitely Harry’s push present for his wife!” one doting fan wrote. Another added: “In addition to her engagement and wedding rings, the Duchess was seen wearing an eternity ring. They’re given to celebrate the birth of a first child or a big anniversary. In Meghan’s case, it’s both.”
Meghan stunned in a navy blue ensemble by Clare Waight Keller, which she paired with a matching Noel Stewart hat for the occasion. She and Harry were joined by Prince Charles and his wife, Duchess Camilla Parker Bowles, Duchess Kate, Prince William, and their children, George, 5, Charlotte, 4, and Louis, 13 months.
The California native and Harry — who wed in May 2018 and announced the news of their growing family five months later — welcomed their son days before their first wedding anniversary.
“We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019,” the proud parents wrote in a statement on their Sussex Royal Instagram page. “Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz. The duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. More details will be shared in the forthcoming days.”
Days later, the pair showed the first photo of the newborn, and announced his moniker: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.For the latest beauty and style trends, subscribe to our new podcast “Get Tressed With Us” below!
