Claudia Schiffer is celebrating her 50th birthday with a totally new collaboration — and it’s seriously on-brand.
The ’90s glamazon teamed up with Frame to launch two new denim pieces inspired by her timeless sense of style. The first is a wide-leg black pant called the CS Le Palazzo in Film Noir, which retails for $225. The second is a $220 skinny light-wash jean called the CS Le High Skinny in Poe. The back of both pants features a cloud design on the leather patch, which is a reference to the German-native’s nickname, Cloudy.
“My everyday ‘uniform’ tends to be based around denim in all of its guises, so I’ve been wearing FRAME for years,” Schiffer said in a statement from the brand. “I’m thrilled that Erik and Jens have decided to release for my birthday a limited-edition run of two of my favorite styles and I’ve loved working with them to incorporate my nickname ‘Cloudy’ into the design.”
But it doesn’t stop there! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to UNICEF, which provides support and aid for children around the world.
For actual day-of celebrations on Tuesday, the supermodel dazzled in a cobalt blue crochet Balmain dress from Olivier Rousteing while blowing out the candles of a giant pancake birthday cake. According to a video she did with British Vogue, the number is a recreated version of a green look Schiffer wore in the brand’s 2016 campaign. “It fits me like a glove,” she says during the 5-minute video.
