The 2019 CMT Awards show in Nashville on Wednesday, June 5, was a very sparkly affair — there were sequins and beads galore spotted on everyone from Carrie Underwood (who scored her record-breaking 20th win) to Maren Morris to Sarah Hyland! And there were more bold elements to ooh and ahh about — overall, it was a night for fun, bold, daring fashion! And we’ve whittled the looks down to the very best dressed ladies of the evening.
Other trends spotted among the night’s top looks: Jumpsuits (on Tegan Marie and Tenille Townes), micro minidresses (Jessie James Decker, we’re looking at you) and two-piece outfits (see: Lauren Bushnell). The thing that tied them altogether: Not only were the styles all about showcasing the celebs’ best features (think lots of very toned legs and lovely shoulders), but they were also designed to pop under stage lights in that perfect way that’s become a Nashville calling card.
