Like a fine wine! Christie Brinkley appeared on HSN on Thursday, Oct. 29, to showcase her Christie Brinkley Authentic Skincare products. But before the glam squad took over to get her TV-ready, she shared an absolutely radiant makeup-free selfie that proved she looks just as good now as she did in her late '80s prime.
The supermodel, 61, was glowing without a drop of foundation, powder, or mascara. "Getting ready to appear on HSN. The only thing I have on my skin is my Recapture Day Cream and Refocus Eye Serum," she wrote on Instagram. "This is my first step everyday routine before applying makeup. I personally recommend trying it for yourself."
Almost immediately after her sans-product selfie, she shared an image of what her fully made-up face looked like, and thanked her makeup artist. "Thank you @sandylinter for getting me ready for the 2Am TV Spot on @hsn with your fabulous artistry!" she captioned the snap. "I can't wait to share my beauty secrets with my friends at home!"
Meanwhile, Brinkley's ex-husband Billy Joel supported their daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, 29, at her sold-out performance at Cafe Carlyle later that same day, in the evening. The "Piano Man" singer, 66, married Alexis Roderick on July 4 and Brinkley had nothing but praise for the new couple. "Congratulations to the glowing bride and groom," she wrote on Instagram after the nuptials. "And to my daughter Alexa, who has a wonderful friend in Alexis! Wishing the growing family every happiness!"
