You know when you go to a red carpet premiere (okay, just a fancy event), and your hair looks absolutely fabulous? Then you wake up the next day and still want to make the most of it? Looks like that’s Kate Middleton‘s MO, too!
The morning after attending the Royal Film Performance of Spectre, the latest James Bond film, the Duchess of Cambridge, 33, met with the children and mentors of Chance UK on Tuesday, Oct. 27, in London, rocking the bounciest of ponytails.
Seemingly making the most of the volume and shine from the glam updo she sported just hours before, Middleton whipped her already styled brunette tresses into a wrapped ponytail that boasted lots of teasing up top and perfectly curled ends.
With the ‘do, the mom of two — Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, 5 months, whom she shares with husband Prince William — modeled Orla Kiely’s heather gray dress with pleating and floral appliqués (recycled from her 2012 visit to the Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts).
She finished the ensemble with drop pearl earrings, a silver watch, a black clutch, Jimmy Choo suede pumps, and, of course, her 12-carat sapphire engagement ring.
Middleton was on hand to meet with the children, mentors, and parents who participate in Chance UK’s early intervention program, which aims to protect youngsters who are at risk for developing antisocial or criminal behavior.
Later in the day, the duchess is expected to attend the 100 Women in Hedge Funds Gala Dinner, which is being held in honor of another of Middleton’s charities, The Art Room. The former art history student is also a patron of the 100 Women in Hedge Funds’ Philanthropic Initiatives.
